15 years after the strongest RP Event relentlessly struck the planet Earth, the survivors gradually, some begrudginly make their peace...with the dramatic loss of populace as well as their newly formed bodies. The fine line between evolution and mutation is forever lost...

The Afro-Futuristic Novel Renpet is the second stage of the Renpet Phenomenon, informing us of the transformation that radically shifted every aspect of our beings in the possible future. It is an account of Serqet (an inter-dimensional being), who shares her experience through psychic transmissions. These transmissions were embedded into my (I, DjaDja N Medjay) psyche through intense dreams and even in the waking hours of my life...I am here to share them with you...

An inexperienced inter-dimensional being is thrust into the chaotic lives of a group of reckless young adults who survived the globally cataclysmic changes of The Great Year.  With barely enough skill to keep herself from being swept by their psychologically and spiritually crippled minds...Can she keep them together long enough to realize the true cause of the dramatic transformation of the world's population into one heavily pigmented race?

'My mother's garb caressed my figure well, much to my surprise. The metallic black material hugged all the feminine proportions of my body like a long lost lover. Only if I had one to speak of, my Ka, yearns for the touch of a Nefer Aha.

"Serqet, you look radiant! You are becoming more like the woman our mother is with each passing moment," said Gebsennuf.

Even though our mother transitioned into the higher plane some time ago, Gebsennuf never referred to her as in the past tense. I guess he was right. After all, our kind has existed for what other life forms may consider an eternity.'

  • When I first read Renpet, it was my first time being reintroduced to sci-fi or a sci-fi related work since the few i had read in my childhood. In any case, it gave my mind the perfect scene as to what the near future could manifest to be, based on the nature of the planet earth and our solar system in this era of time. What intrigued me the most was how the Terrains natural abilities, be it mental physical or emotional, were heightened due to the effects of nature. It just showed me that if I or more so we were more in tune and attuned to nature, the potential of our capabilities, unique gifts and bio human technology would be so greatly advanced. I also loved the way there was a merge between some ancient concepts that i had been learning and futuristic thought that had been vaguely lingering in the back of my mind. This novel was well received to me with great timing. The author expresses much of the scenery and action in great detail, it was a bit hard for me to put the novel away without anticipation of what is going to happen next. I will always be an excited follower and fan of the RP Series. OBashy

  • I do Ren Ren, I do Ren Ren... RenPet is that new genre that I've dubbed "Sci-Funk"... the future of Sci-Fi jazzed up with that heavily melaninated superconductive phonetic picture painting. I haven't read more entertaining sci-fi in years. On the level with authors like Piers Anthony, Ray Bradbury, and Isaac Asimov, author DjaDja N-Medjay is taking sci-fi in a direction as yet unexplored and in line with the essence of exploration on a new level - esoterics and high tech.. Nice.

  • If you pick this book up you will want to read it from cover to cover in one sitting. It is just that good. I remember reading it and asking for more of the story. Actually reaching out to the author requesting another installment of this book. I enjoyed the characters and the story line Yes, what if we woke up and the issue of race was no more. What would we do then? exciting. I found this book to be a very interesting read and I believe you will as well.
